A meeting will be scheduled to find out if we are a good fit for each other. During this meeting you will meet both membesr of our team (Stevie and Jamie). We would like to get to know what your goals are for your birth and what kind of support you are looking for from us. During this meeting we encourage you to ask us questions and understand what each of our roles are during your pregnancy, birth and postpartum period. This meet and greet is free of charge. If you have any questions once the meeting is finished please feel free to reach out to us for more information.
Contract Information: If you decide to choose All Bases Covered Childbirth Services as your doula team please contact us and we will send over our contract. If you have any questions regarding the contract please let us know.
Prenatal visits are planned throughout your pregnancy so that we can continue to get to know each other and learn how we can work as a team. We will be discuss a number of topics at these visits some of which include:
-birth plans -fears -comfort measures -postpartum support -resources in the area And more....
As a team we are on call 24 hours 7 days a week for your birth 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after your estimated due date.

Labor and Delivery Support
Once you feel you need labor support a member from our team who is on call at this time will accompany you whether you are at home or at the hospital. The doula will offer emotional and physical support. Your doula will suggest comforting positions, offer massage, and try to create a comfortable environment for you. The doula will remain with you throughout your labor to ensure you feel supported throughout the entire process.
After the delivery of your baby your doula will stay with you for your immediate postpartum period to assist with skin to skin and ensure you have established early breastfeeding if this is your desire.
The doula(s) who assisted you during your birth will set up a time to visit after the birth of your baby. During this visit we like to address any concerns you may have, how you are adjusting to new parenthood, and to provide any resources you may need.
